Burberry Prorsum

Spring-Summer 2015 – Burberry Prorsum’s new female collection was all about sexy casualwear. Denim jackets were teamed with sheer dresses and skirts in shades of yellow, pink, violet, red and blue, with hemlines ending just below the knee. The denim jackets were dyed navy, yellow and pink, and some featured white fur trim to dramatize an otherwise simple piece. In addition, Burberry Prorsum experimented with textiles of varying densities in order to increase the theatricality of the collection. The dramatic nature of the collection was further enhanced by the presence of geometric printa and patterns. The models sported bold red lips, thus intensifying the sensuality and theatricality of the range, with hair either worn loose or slicked back. The collection was accessorised with small handbags in a multitude of colours, and white trainers with coloured soles, multicoloured trainers or multicoloured sandals.

The menswear collection was, similarly, highly colourful, woh models wearing tailored trousers in violet and black, denim shirts, and overcoats in violet and brown. Menswear was accessorised with wide brimmed hats in violet and acid green, and large navy and violet bags

The men wore multicoloured trainers in order to maintain the kaleidoscopic colour range of the collection.
