Neil Barret

Spring-Summer 2014 – Neil Barret has created a collection this season made using entirely monochrome, with only a splash of dark red; this is especially different for a summer collection. Instead the main focus of attention is the patterns. The very geometric, contrived pattern is often contained in wavy abstract shapes, creating an interesting contrast. There are also stripes in varying widths and blocks of colours in different scales. In order to make this collection more suitable for summer there are lots of suits made up of smart jackets and shorts, short sleeve shirts and casual sports jackets. The colour blocking t-shirts, sleeveless gilets, see through undershirts and trench coats all make this collection undeniably summery.
