Spring-Summer 2010 – Known for prettiness and a gentle colour palette, there was a change from the norm today. The free-sprit festival chick sprang to mind as the models bore bright festival makeup across their eyes and pink and purple dip-dye in their hair. The somewhat punk-like visage was purported by Alice Dellal, the queen of punk herself, when she gallivanted down the catwalk. The projected moving trees set the tone for the models entrance. Predominantly sheer dresses flowed as the models walked, with pleated ruffles and swatch chiffon to match their bright shoes. Chiffon was everywhere, wrapped around the girls eyes and on their clothes in a zigzag formation of pink, yellow, orange and silver. This was to name a few of the sorbet bright colours. Beautifully embellished maxi-dresses cascaded to the floor in ruffles or sequins, the girls skin shimmered with the dresses to add to the effect: a surprisingly playful collection.
