Valentino

Valentino Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2015 – This year we were led back in time at Valentino’s SS15 Couture collection. Featuring historical patterns and Russian inspired embroideries, adding culture and religious references to this season.

The collection featured ruffled chiffon collars, hand worked embroidery, smocked waistlines and busty chest areas.  The velvet dress with a plunging neckline added class to Valentino’s runway show, demonstrating simple and timeless styling.

The final 8 looks in the show were truly breathtaking. Hand embroidered poetic quotes feathered through the natural soft drapes in the fabric. Any onlooker will be instantly drawn into the journey of Valuation’s creations and left feeling inspired.

Valentino opted for a soft brown colour palette including pale blue and deep romantic reds. Further captivating the FROW.

All of the looks were accessorised with flower hair inserts and stilettos, which matched each look.

The models had texturised free flowing hair, styled with plaits. Creating a folky traditional vibe. Reinforcing the theme of Valentino’s SS15 show.
