Spring – Summer 2014 – A collection fit for a Middle Eastern princess, a Valentino collection never fails to disappoint us especially with the fabulous creative directors at the helm. It was heavily influenced by some Spanish heritage and I could see the Medici family wearing pieces in ears past. Silhouettes were structured with clean lines yet heavily adorned with embroidery too in rich deep colours of burgundy, green and black. We had box shaped tops teamed with lose fitting trousers with a hint of tribal influence too with the use of print and also exquisite suede dresses and jackets which were a refreshing contrast to the theatrical dresses in the collection.

Hemlines were of every length and fit for each person but the stand out pieces had to be the stunning finale dresses with their use of lace and sheer panelling, they are almost too stunning and regal to grace the red carpet and are purely fit for royalty. Lets hope our own monarch gives the label a nod fort the coming season, after all the entire collection is purely fit for a princess.
