Saint Laurent

Spring – Summer 2014 – Saint Laurent and the classic rock n roll chic is back again for the summer and once again she is all about the classic cut suit in grey dogtooth and leather lapels also.  Leather is a key fabric in this collection using it within his mini skirts, skinny trousers and biker jackets. The pieces are very tailored, and tiny, meaning this is a collection for the young and very svelte also. Shirts were in chiffon with embellished button plackets and dresses came in styles of prom, body con and wrap. It was a very dark collection with burst of gold, red and blue on sequin-embellished dresses, which was the stand out pieces within the collection. Saint Laurent is an iconic label and one, which should be a stand out show on the schedule, but this collection was beautiful and refined but felt very similar, still it’s Saint Laurent what more is there to say.
