Spring-Summer 2014 – Regardless of the season, Mulberry steps (or in this case bounces) to there own rhythm. In honour of the English rose (used to inspire Burberry’s latest collection) Burberry set stage amid Kensington Gardens, sheltered by a huge transparent, umbrella-styled tent above. Tranquil, acoustic music aired throughout the runway radiating a peaceful ambience. The musical crescendo peaked at the grand finale where a shower of petals trickled over the show, warming the hearts of the entire audience and getting them excited (if not already) for the next summery season.

Bailey’s endless alterations and versatile savvy of iconic ingredients alone makes the brand’s fan base grow. Of course the trench coat returned in softer, stud-free fabrics, coated with sugar almond pastels palettes, then teamed with elusive, transparent lace. Crochet skirts over granny knickers made of satin, polka dots, stripes, crystal blooms and super-soft sheepskin clutches completed the collection brimming with must-have desirables.
