Spring-Summer 2012 – Pretty and lighthearted sum up Rykiel’s S/S collection. The models wore large hair clips in their glossy curls and walked to “I want to ride by bicycle” by Queen. When one pictures vanilla, yellow and creams on billowing midi-skirts and cute midi-dresses the imagination leads to preppy girls in cashmere knits and cream v-neck jumpers. Horizontal stripes acted as an omnipresence. They were contrasted on glittery trousers and tops or took a thinner form of maxi-dresses.  ‘Clownish’ all in ones shrouded the silhouette and cute white-lace trousers suits were the pinnacle of girlish shrewdness, especially once one had seen the flat bags – perfect when travel ingto the office. The domination of the sheer white blouse continued, and loose trousers finished high above the ankles. The finale of rainbow striped maxi-dresses were in tune with the mode of the collection which was full of glee.
