Spring-Summer 2012 – The eery veneer of the collection and the darkness of the show was bordering on psychotic. Big bag like dresses slumped to the floor. The clothing did not shape the silhouette, rather, it was moulded around the body.  Owens symbolic leather jackets took on a new form this season: extra-long lengths with high collars, arched sleeves – when teamed with a black maxi skirt it took on an eery dimension. Hem lines on skirts and trousers were sculpted with a lifting arc to reveal silver sandals underneath, or were made to come in around the ankle thus further exaggerating the baggy drop-crotched trousers. In order to give a new form to the voluminous tops, drawstring wrapped round tunics, tops and coats, they were then tied in a nonchalant way. The colour palette focused on white, grey, black and the occasional tan  personified the robotic collection.
