Miu Miu

Spring-Summer 2012 – The girlishness of the Miu Miu shows are always to be expected and here at catwalkyourself we love the youthful complexion. Today there was a new twist, with red eye-shadow and wax-flatten hair, the girls were given a vampish guise. Full skirts and matching bra tops were sprightly giving that particular silhouette a new meaning to what Prada and D&G did – this would be due to the petite cloaks that were tied with velvet ribbons (did somebody say Little Red Riding Hood). A-line skirts with high, tight fitted waists were paired with black straightjacket blouses that crisscrossed with the body (referencing here, the undertone of psychotic that could be seen throughout the show).  Keeping in tune with the skirts were the purple A-line dresses, they were cut low enough to show off a bra top in contrasting blue. Momentous were the lace coats and dresses coming in a variety of colour purporting that Miu Miu is just as cute and bubbly as ever.
