Autumn-Winter 2013/14

The Vionnet collection was inspired by modern femininity and creative director Goga Ashkenazi showed through these designs her vision for what the Vionnet label could become in the future.

The collection was sleek and accomplished, a minimal colour palette of navy, black and white helped the designs to move effortlessly from one to another. The emphasis from Goga was on tailoring, and flattering cuts, there were plenty of perfectly cut coats and jackets, which were given added oomph with highlights of a contrast colour. The textures used were one of the strongest points of the collection with pony skin and knit adding depth to the designs.

Ultimately this was a successful collection that told of promising things to come from this label.
