Jitrois

Autumn-Winter 2013/14

Jean-Claude Jitrois delivered a confident show, his first on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar. The designer described his inspiration for the collection as being childhood memories of ‘belles élégantes’ in the south of France. This inspiration decided a very feminine, intricate feel that resided across the collection.

The designs ranged from elegant floor length dresses and full skirts to some striking leather looks. The use of leather in the collection was prolific and different to what we’ve seen from some designers before. Jean-Calude used leather panelling to frame parts of the body and create dramatic, alluring looks.

This accomplished collection bodes well for future shows from Jitrois.
