Autumn-Winter 2013/14

Etro played to its strengths this season and delivered a collection full of intricate and beautiful prints. As is often the way with Veronica Etro’s designs the collection had a distinct menswear feel to it, for this season Veronica leaned towards sportswear and the digital age for her inspiration.

The models walked out to a catwalk ablaze with a high-tech light show while wearing pieces created with progressive digital printing techniques. Veronica also described being influenced by tribal cultures and this thread can be seen in the organically inspired prints and colour palette of black, white and yellow.

While dresses and skirts hugged the models bodies and revealing necklines cut into the dresses the collection avoiding seeming overtly sexy and instead felt very refined and austere.
