Oliver Spencer Men Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – “I always try to bridge the gap between the two dress codes. We call it ‘contemporary dressing’. It’s really the way that most men dress, in my opinion. Combining these two dress codes also allows a man to not be defined by age.” – Oliver Spencer
A designer who’s aesthetic is to reflection his own style. Oliver Spencer’s inspiration comes from his own designs. His major influence features are architecture and world of art. Oliver Spencer’s fall/winter 2017 menswear show was all about clean and sharp lines directing towards sophisticated looks and contemporary wardrobe for modern man. British inherent menswear fabrics like pinstripe, herringbone, velvet, tweed and prince of walles were seen constructed in sharp-edged with casual looks. Silhouettes like bomber jackets, rolled neck sweaters and leather jackets were seen rendered in hues of earthy colour like burgundy, olive green, gray, dark blue, brown and black. Accessories like, formal black shoes, Umbrella and leather duffel bags were well teamed up with the silhouettes to complete the looks.
