Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – A very refined collection championing what Victor & Rolf do best, and the look of AW2012 the suit. Skins were an outlining theme of this collection as they showed fur hats and coats, leather trousers and dungarees. They cited their women’s 1998 “Atomic bomb” collection as their inspiration, creating a mushroom cloud look with heavily quilted jackets and skinny trousers and a military like silhouette. Their newly launched fragrance Spicebomb was referenced in the show as well by using the face of their campaign Sean O’Pry as a model. Perhaps the fragrance was behind the colour inspiration for the show; mustard yellow, cumin, cinnamon and paprika. A very sophisticated collection for the duo.
