Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – Kim Jones named the show “A tale of two cities”: Paris and Tokyo. He focused on the chic fashionable man of the American in Paris in the 70s, showing luxury at every corner, jackets and trench coats in camel and vicuna, skins like crocodile and lizard. It is true to what Paris promises, and the essence of Louis Vuitton, effortless class. Tokyo chic gave us the powerful businessman, the strong heroic men Jones took inspiration from, an Asian military jacket, eastern silks in their finest and slick snowy white ski jackets. It was the perfect marriage between two fashion forward cities and a collection of elegance and power.
