Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Giorgio Armani focused on suits for his FW17 collection. “Suits were pretty big this season. How is this different from every other collection,” you ask? Well, Armani set his sights on reconfiguring the suit; he had trousers with a pleated front panel, giving the frontal viewer an impression they were looking at a skirt until the model turned around. Not a particularly novel concept, but it’s an interesting take and certainly separated the looks from the pack. Otherwise, the collection was pretty on par for course for an Armani show. The use of vivid colors definitely helped to add some dimension to the looks. As did the incorporation of velvet, furs and mohair — we expect to see the full-length fuzzy mohair coats in stores and a fashion blogs alike. Colors aside, it was a fairly demure collection. Not too extravagant, but definitely no snoozer. But Giorgio Armani does ever could be.
