Antonio Berardi

Antonio Berardi Women Spring Summer 2016 – Taking place in the stunning setting of the Natural History Museum, Antonio Berardi presented his ‘Distressed Glamour’ Spring/Summer collection.

The attitude was carefree sophistication with tailored separates in coordinating abstract prints on silk. Ruby red, cornflower blue and canary yellow were mixed into a monochrome palette and models sported stunning coordinating heels by Jimmy Choo.

Quality tailoring was seen in such items as a classic black evening gown with sheer skirt attached at the waist to a bodice. Dresses with long flowing trains added drama and a lemon yellow gown with contrasting blue paisley pattern embroidery was definitely a standout piece. A range of tasselled duster coats in neutrals and brights made alternative cover ups and featured crystal embellishments.

Oversized tuxedos paired with a variety of straight and wide leg trousers concluded the show which embraced femininity and unique detail. A diverse and wearable collection from Berardi provides a piece for every occasion for the modern woman.
