Gucci’s exclusive collaboration with Mr Porter

Gucci and Mr Porter (www.mrporter.com) will launch an exclusive capsule collection on 18 May 2017 designed by the legendary Alessandro Michele.

The collection, inspired by “urbanism and self-expression”, will feature 43 pieces ranging in price from £140 to £2,030. Gucci’s signature bee and tiger motifs will feature throughout the collection alongside newer motifs of the cat and skeleton. The collection is expected to feature jeans, strong tailoring, accessories and footwear. Each piece will feature an exclusive yellow Gucci label that will be unique to this capsule collection.

This collaboration comes hot on the heels of Gucci’s successful previous collaboration with Net-a-porter.com. Gucci glasses just have a certain sophistication to them that you cannot afford to miss out on.

The Industry has reported that CEO Marco Bizzarri said “We are pleased to build on the success of our exclusive capsule collection for Net-a-porter last year with a new capsule this time for Mr. Porter, whose clients are unquestionably some of the most knowledgeable and sophisticated menswear fashion consumers in the marketplace.”

Mr Porter’s managing director, Toby Bateman, said “We are the thrilled to partner with Gucci on this exclusive project, at a time when the House is so vibrant and influential in its designs. Alessandro and his team’s talents truly shine through with this unique capsule collection of iconic pieces, all of which we’re sure will be an instant success with our global customer.
