Fashion Brand Dolce & Gabbana Continues to Expand Its Reach as a Lifestyle Brand

Posted on

The Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana is one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana joined forces more than 35 years ago. After they unveiled their first collection during Milan Fashion Week, the Dolce & Gabbana brand has gone on to establish itself as one of the top design houses in the fashion industry. The Dolce & Gabbana name has become synonymous with its many signature luxury looks, including female power suits and feminine slip-like dresses.

In recent years, Dolce & Gabbana has started to branch out. From collaborating and partnering with other companies to creating and establishing their own lifestyle brand Casa, the Italian designers are channeling their creative talents into new and exciting directions.

Dolce & Gabbana Collaborates With Other Companies

The founders of Dolce & Gabbana have never been content to limit their creative talents to the fashion world. Even before the launch of Casa, Dolce & Gabbana expanded the brand’s reach into other sectors through collaborations with several companies.

Dolce Vita Limited Edition Chocolates

Baci® Perugina® and Dolce & Gabbana have paired up to create a delicious chocolate creation. Each piece provides a crunchy hazelnut center surrounded by a decadent inner filling of cocoa and lemon-infused grains and covered in white chocolate. To make the candy even more unique, Dolce & Gabbana has created beautiful packaging that combines iconic colors, designs, and traditions of Italy.

Italian Wine

The Italian fashion house has also been collaborating with a well-known Italian winemaker. Donnafugata and Dolce & Gabbana have jointly released several wines together. The line, which includes white, rosé, and red wines, is a celebration of Sicilian culture.

Kitchen Appliances

If you want a splash of style in your kitchen, an appliance created by Smeg and Dolce & Gabbana may be just what you are looking for. These unique appliances combine bold colors, unique patterns, and Sicilian motifs to capture the spirit and essence of Sicily. Best of all, there is a wide range of pieces to choose from, including toasters, coffee makers, tea kettles, blenders, and even juicers.

Martini Gold

Bacardi’s vermouth brand Martini paired up with Dolce & Gabbana to launch a special co-branded drink called the Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana. Intended to capture the spirit of Italy’s La Dolce Vita, this product combines a beautiful presentation with a top-quality drink that was designed and tested by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana themselves. As an extension of the partnership, Dolce & Gabbana launched a menswear line and opened martini bars in select stores.

Dolce & Gabbana Becomes a Lifestyle Brand With the Launch of Casa

Having found success in collaborations outside the world of fashion, it’s not surprising that the Dolce & Gabbana founders have decided to launch their own lifestyle brand. Combining the brand’s unique design motifs with Dolce & Gabanna’s “foundational values [of] impeccable craftsmanship, love for the ‘Fatto a Mano,’ respect for tradition, and the quest for innovation,” the Casa lifestyle brand offers bold, cheerful, and innovative home furnishings that can add style and energy to any space.

The collection encompasses everything from large furniture pieces to textiles to dinnerware. The Casa line is unapologetically Italian in style, and each piece features one of Dolce & Gabbana’s signature motifs, including:

– The Leo leopard print

– The Zebra motif

– The swirling Mediterranean Blue pattern

– The Sicilian-inspired Carretto design

Each designer piece features flair and whimsy and feels like a welcome extension of the Dolce & Gabbana brand.

The Dolce & Gabbana brand may have launched more than 35 years ago, but the company is far from stagnant. Instead, the fashion house continues to innovate and expand, impacting not only the fashion world but also using its creative skills and eye for design to forge new roads.
