Steve Madden teams with Iggy Azalea

After rising to fame as a hip hop artist, Iggy Azalea is slowly but surely making a name for herself in fashion. After posing in a campaign for Revolve Clothing last spring, she was hired by MTV to host the 2014 edition of « House of Style » this summer.

Now, the young star has been invited by Steve Madden to collaborate on a new footwear line. While the resulting collection is already scheduled to launch in February 2015, there are no details yet on its contents.

« The idea for a collaboration came about a few months ago when Iggy performed in Brooklyn as part of our Madden Music series, » a spokesperson for the brand revealed to the website Fashionista. « She has an extremely gifted eye for fashion, and we’re working on the collection now. »
