Spring – Summer 2014 – Givenchy for Spring/ summer was all about a rich earthly tone for the season creating beautiful dresses which clinged to the body in the style of Madame Gres, they were draped to perfection in rich greens, red and blacks tying them together with leather straps in a roman warrior style.

This collection was the sexiest armour-clothing if yet to ever be seen. We moved into embellished fever as we had tunics adorned with sequin prints with a Japanese style influence on the trousers, silhouettes were kept simple with lengths grazing the knee and ankle and all the emphasis were put upon creating those drapes to highlight the woman’s figure. Models walked with embellished masks teaming them with a burst of sequin dresses in a rich colour tone. It is clear to see that on Ricardo’s mind were roman warriors verses goddesses and fused the two together creating stunning masterpieces.
