Miu Miu

Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – Miu Miu offers the perfect refreshment after the enervation of the fashion weeks. You can guarantee it’s going to be a little kooky and sure enough, the first girl wore a print clashing blouse and clown-like eye makeup. From there, it was a seventies inspired demonstration of colour and print, tailored suits came in a sheen of green, blue, khaki and red. Then, a blossom of paisley-esque prints and vertical stripes made up longer blazers and ankle-length trousers – all the while they were paired with ultra-long ties tucked into trousers being held with smart, discreet buckled belts. The perfect workwear was being offered for those who extroverts out there: at times in suede and then in tweed. Outerwear wise there were cape-shouldered tailored jackets and heavily bejeweled pieces – Psychedelic is the perfect word to describe the lusty, loud collection.
