Krizia

Krizia Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Taking over the Krizia, Zhu Chongyun and Antonio D’Anna, had one (not so) simple task: resurrect the once storied label. The pair looked to the label’s archives, utilizing the brand’s famous animal prints. But the prints aside, this collection was very docile and quiet in a way. There were some cool proportions and quirky styling, but for the most part it had a serene feeling. Chongyun and D’Anna, it seems, want to take their time with this revival.  And they are off to a good start. It just may be a couple of seasons before we get anything truly awe-inspiring. Still don’t sleep on the brand. The intarsia sweaters and embroidered gilet and skirt gave us a little something to be excited about. With that said, we’re looking forward to seeing what else this duo can do.
