Altuzarra Woman Spring Summer 2017 – Flirty is the key description for this collection. Ruffles, pencil skirts, high slits and striped short-shorts were the prominent silhouettes. Snakeskin was an underlying theme, beginning with the blue snakeskin jacket featuring lemon decals over a cherry-printed bra and skirt set. The cherry print continued throughout, in ruffled bras and embroidered along necklines, and in simple black and white as well as the robin’s egg blue and red.

Coquettish spaghetti-strap dresses strutted past, between trench coats, off-the-shoulder striped knit dresses and slitted pencil skirts. Blowsy wrap dresses buttoned at the wrists and drifted open at the collar, and fitted sweaters hugged the figure. Chiffon dresses tied with snakeskin belts finished the show, cut plunging at the neckline, the final two in sheer, patterned tiers.

Snakeskin, bright stripes, delicate florals, and one instance of pineapples and lemons decorated the playful looks. Ankle-strapped heels were worn throughout, and wide belts defined waists for the sultry hourglass shape that characterized the collection. Corkscrew earrings in bright blue, yellow and chrome drew the eye and added to the bombshell silhouette, which was completed by black, and cherry-printed stockings.
