Two Way Layout

A Two way layout is a pattern in which half of it lies in one direction and the other half lies in the other direction for example, facing up and facing down. This means that the piece of fabric that this pattern is printed on can be used either the right way up or upside down. This minimises waste when cutting the pattern out. Many different motifs or patterns can be used, in various colours to create a variety of different fabrics.
