Trellis

Trellis pattern is a pattern which resembles the supporting structure of wood or metal trellising. This pattern is made up of interwoven strips of colour to create diamond or other shaped patterns. The base colour and the trellis colour are usually different, to create a contrast and it is most commonly printed onto the finished pieces of fabric, as it cannot generally be colour woven because of the complexity of its design. Different colours and thicknesses of lines can be used.
