Halfdrop

Halfdrop patterns are patterns whereby the design or motif is repeated vertically. Each row after this is repeated half of the length of the motif below it. The end result is a pattern that steps downwards each row. Many different designs can be used and Halfdrop patterns are made in various colours. This type of pattern is usually printed onto the piece of fabric after manufacture.
