Greek Key Patterned Ground

Greek Key pattern is a pattern that is made up of straight lines meeting at right angles. These patterns are geometric and interlocking and are usually made up of one continuous line. The Ground of the pattern is usually a contrasting colour and this pattern is often used for borders. It was used frequently in Greek pottery and is a pattern that has to be printed onto the piece of fabric after manufacture has taken place.
