Cypress

Cypress Fabric is a fine fabric usually made from cotton lawn, silk or crepe-like in appearance. It is often gauze like meaning that it is lightweight and semi transparent. Cypress fabrics are generally black and used as a sign of mourning or in mourning wear. The term ‘Cypress’ can also be used to describe any fabric is which is manufactured in or originates from the island of Cyprus.
