Coordinate patterns are two or more patterns which are intended to be used together to create a new pattern. These patterns are related to each other, either in terms of colour, subject matter or technique; they are coordinating hence the name. These designs can be very similar or very different as long as they have something in common. They are generally printed onto a finished piece of fabric.
