Calico pattern is a floral pattern. It is generally an all over pattern and it is made up of small scale flowers. These flowers can be many different colours and originally this pattern was used frequently in India. The background and the foreground use contrasting colours and the floral pattern is repeated in a random repeat. This pattern is usually printed onto a finished piece of fabric.
