Imperial PVC

Imperial PVC fabric is a woven polyester fabric coated with PVC. It is waterproof, but not breathable. PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride and is used as an alternative to leather, rubber or latex, as the properties are similar yet it is much cheaper to produce. PVC has a sheen to it and it is used in alternative, punk and goth clothing frequently. It was first produced in the 1920’s and can be finished in many different ways including, stain-resistance and anti-bacterial.
