Autumn-Winter 2012/13 — Fur, fur, animal, and even more fur; the sheer quantity ranged from antelope, goat, mink, crocodile and shaggy coats it was hardline for even the biggest fashion diva. Nothing was spared for the lustrous collection, as models were layered and draped in it. The primitive look was aided by tight plaits across the forehead and tribal paint courtesy of eyeshadow The Fendi girl maintains her glamour and high maintenance with huge square studded handbags, thick, shield-like waist belts and high heeled ankle boots. Fitting for the fall, it was a warmly, wintery colour scheme thanks to leopard print tights and the nude-come-beige-come-tan fur. There were leather shift dresses made even more exotic with silk, puffed sleeves teamed with heavy cashmere shawls while pleated inserts and loose panels took asymmetries to the extreme. The overindulgent and over-luxurious collection was Karl Lagerfeld all over.
