Stéphane Rolland

Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2015 – This collection featured a variety of design concepts including flared jumpsuits, cape style dresses, cutaway tops and structured skirts with thigh splits. Instantly suggesting layers and depth was the focus for Rolland this year.

The colour pallet was kept subtle, but attractive. White, golden brown, jet black, cream and nude made this years Couture collection. As well as gold, silver and a pop of orange. However the colours wasn’t as striking as expected, due to sheer material choices.

Shoulder embellishment, monochrome styling, deep V necklines and curved hem lines are some of the design details which caught my eye this season. However pleated waistbands and metallic bandeau’s was a close second.

The finale looks of Rolland’s collection were breathtaking to say the least. Fishtail dresses, embellished petal hips and cuffs, alongside oversized ball gowns and ruffle hem lines. Creating an illusion of flowers creeping up the dresses as they walked down the runway.
