Jil Sander

Spring- Summer 2014- The ultimate minimalistic and clean lined brand which still has its ethos running throughout the label who ever may take the helm, it’s great to see a polished and slick collection like today’s with the simple palette based around monochrome which we are seeing is still going to be a key colour for Spring/Summer.

The collection was very tailored focus but with feminine cuts and cut always with low necklines, cocoon shapes and lose fitting sleeves gave a relaxed feel. Keeping in mind the subtle the colours are some beautiful demure prints, none of the outlandish floral prints we have seen so far. The collection creates a calming feel to it with only hints of pastel colours and it’s clear to see that jackets were the focus for their customer in mind for the coming season. Not a collection to get your heart racing at trying to think what you just saw, but a timeless and beautiful collection.
