Spring-Summer 2014 – Gucci has created a dreamy relaxed new take on luxe loungewear. A far cry from the past season of structured and fierce pieces, this collection has elements of sportswear influence with the use of mesh tops and lose pants but also a nod further more to a constant favourite reference of the 20’s, with the low drop necklines and waist along with the use of art deco embroidery on each piece.

Every piece is all about fluid movements around the body and the pieces embody a next to skin notion with the use of chiffons and light silks. This collection is full of deep rich warm colours that almost offer an eastern feel to the collection along with kimono and plissé dressing gown; seductively loosely fastened to reveal the contoured bras around the body. Gucci’s main rule is glamour and they kept this alive with the side split skirts and use of rich colour but this season it’s all about the relaxed glamour of a Gucci woman.
