Giorgio Armani

Spring-Summer 2014-Giorgio Armani is a show that is all about the woman, a slick collection from start to finish. Each piece is wearable and will be seen on every polished dressed woman out there, he is not a designer who is known for outlandish designs or heart stopping ‘what was that’ moments. Instead his pieces are ones of quality and perfection. For spring/summer his focus was upon soft tailoring and letting garments fall loosely around the body in a fluid movement.

It started off with a sombre colour palette moving swiftly into burst of pinks and blues. Two models at a time to give that double impact, it was a soft take on luxury and a juxtapose between pieces teaming a croc skin leather jacket with a beautiful chiffon water distilled printed floral dress. The Armani woman for next season is sweet and demure and the cutwork dresses will be an instant hit on the red carpet, the season is about the subtle sensual dresser and Armani knows just how to dress her.
