Spring- Summer 2014- Emilio Pucci was a print magpie’s heaven for this coming season, hitting hard on the catwalk were print after print which were over exaggerated yet sublimely balanced against the silhouette it was printed upon. The collection had a fantastic take on the very evident trend of next season, sports lux.  Silk sports pieces thrown over figure conforming pieces with sheer tops for the added sexy allure.

From start to finish the collection is vibrant and hard hitting and has an Eastern feel to the pieces with harem style and loosely draped skirts teamed with hugely adorned belts to nip on the waist. Fabrics were fluid and worked with the body and embellishment was a must in this collection with the showstoppers coming in jewelled formed tracksuits and slinky jackets thrown over them. Eveningwear was kept to simple silhouettes with intricate cut out panels. Pucci never fails on how to dress a woman and this coming season, I for one want to be a Pucci girl.
