Spring-Summer 2011 – Block colours have dominated the s/s 11 catwalks. Hints of neon have been everywhere. Kane’s collection exuberated more than this. Neon colours dominated the collection more than any other catwalk this season. Floral prints had been stamped onto the zappy electric colours of yellow, fuchsia, orange and pink. These colours ran through the collection. Pringle diamond prints on cashmere pushed the conservative look. Thus was somewhat compelling against the liberal neon and leather. The collarless jackets and the knee-length skirts containing four box pleats kept the designs of the collection of the traditionalist side. The fierce kimono dragon prints came next. The intricate design was somewhat oriental whilst neon stripes maintaining the awe inspiriting craftsmanship alive, sculpting the dress around the body. This collection is wearable for both the rebel and the more conservative lady.
