Versace

Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – This fall’s ready-to-wear collection by the Italian icon is another one of my favourites.

I don’t think you could get any more femininity in one line if you tried. The seductive fall of the satin around the female figure reinforces the idea of the female form.

The body con dresses teamed with the military style fastenings add a sophisticated edge to possible work wear. Military inspiration in fashion gives the impression of being strict and regimented, the cuts and colours help add to this idea.

There is also a clear blend on hemlines, tapered hemlines add structure to plain detailing and square hemlines finish the outfit with a blunt point, leading the eye to footwear.

The footwear of the line has been reinvented with the stiletto point returning; there is a somewhat s and m edge to them with the corset lace up front. The length of the boots also varies depending on the outfit, over the knee with mini skirts shows the smallest area of skin but one of the most sensual areas on women.
