Paul Smith

Autumn – Winter 2013/14

The eternally great Paul Smith delivered all things bright and beautiful with his latest collection. Shown in the grand Tate Britain Paul sent look after look down the runway that cemented his reputation as the master of relaxed and casual elegance.

The collection was filled with boxy, masculine coats, tailored trousers clipped at the ankle, slim fit jumpers and precisely cut suits. It was wardrobe staples at their best except, having been designed by Paul they were each injected with a bolt of new life. Every classic piece was taken and perfected with rich autumnal colours like forest green and deep purple and set off with luxurious printed silk.

Paul delivered a series of looks that were precise, clean, elegant and aspirational from start to finish, they conveyed effortless chic and an easy grace.
