Autumn – Winter 2013/14

Ever since Matthew Williamson’s debut collection in 1997 his shows at London Fashion Week have been eagerly anticipated. This season the acclaimed designer revealed a collection as elegant and beautiful as it’s setting, the Royal Opera House.

The designer is known for his way with print, his embellishment, precise attention to detail and his fearless approach to colour. His latest collection, with prints referencing mythical landscapes was infused with the best of Matthew’s design approach.

The collection shimmered, with metallic’s and embellishment carrying the glamorous dresses and knitted coats down the catwalk. Colour abounded with bright yellows, neon dresses and geometric prints. The diverse selection of glamorous textiles were set off with outsized accessories and touches of fur and it all combined to create a celebration of luxurious womens style.
