Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – The dip dye hair in a variety of colours, black lipstick and svelte draped fabric mixed both punk and vampire for an interesting array of colours and contours. At first, it was bright red: a mixture of cape like dresses teamed with purple or black clothes and thick black boots. Next, black versions sliding over the red yet contrasting with blue gloves and purple shoes; clashing in a new way and it worked. At times, the clothes took on a sporty dimension as they came in stretch fit otherwise it was strictly corseted dresses, accordion leather skirts and sharp collars in – of course – red and black, both of which created sexy-sass under heavy cape-like coats in blue or black. The clothes, hanging off the model’s, were not made to fit, giving the pajama trend another dimension with huge sashes enveloping the girls; Cocooned in clothes has been a strong look this season.
