Pringle of Scotland

Pringle of Scotland Women Spring Summer 2016 – Celebrating their 200 year anniversary, Pringle of Scotland’s Spring/Summer offering shows how the brand has progressed into the 21st century whilst still retaining its traditional heritage.

Chunky knits mixed with silks were paired with crisp white staples for a relaxed and feminine vibe. Dresses, skirts and tops constructed fully from hand crafted crochet were layered, white over black, for a luxe bohemian result. Delicate and fluid, models looked breezy and fresh with natural hair and sun kissed makeup. Terracotta knits were worn with long side split skirts, creating lean shapes. Refreshing details were found in cut out shoulders and sleeves worn long over the hands.

Soft gold silk dresses constructed by adjoining diamonds were a nod to traditional Argyll knits but looked light as air. Creative Director Massimo Nicosia is famed for his amazing fabric innovations and creation of beautiful silhouettes, he is succeeding in carrying this established brand forward into the future.
