Spring-Summer 2014 – The Salvatore Ferragamo collection this season has some really interesting garments, with lightweight waterproof jackets, quilted vest tops and trench coats. The colours were kept very summery with whites, camel colours and some really bright colours as well. Again, like many other SS14 collections we have seen, wide leg shorts with suit jackets seem to be very popular. Layering is also very important, with many of the outfits having shirts, waistcoats and then coats on top. There are some very interesting details, including quilting, large numbers in contrasting colours and jackets with lots of zips, adjustable toggles and pockets, making this a very practical addition to the coming season. This contrast of pristine tailoring and more casual showerproof jackets makes the collection very wearable.
