Spring-Summer 2012 – Flat cap, cravats, short sleeve shirts, rain jackets cardigans and Astroturf flooring, even without the clubs there is no doubt that the inspiration for this collection was golf. Miuccia Prada, however, manages to portray this theme in a fresh light, featuring floral trousers, with print like an old sixties housecoat, the caps have brightly coloured designs or are shaped like shower caps and the models wear blue tinted round glasses making them look rather hippyish. Jackets are worn with nothing underneath and the men carry oversized clutch bags. The shoes have spikes on top rather than on the soles and the golf bags are in garish prints. It’s as though you brought your unruly cousin to the game and he spices everything up!
