Autumn-Winter 2010/11 – Dior showed sharp suits. Business suits with a fashion twist such as the cropped trousers and skinny ties. He played with textures, including felts, leathers and knits. He did not play with colour, keeping the pallet neutral, in blacks and off whites. It was all about shape for this collection, adding a second layer to only one side of a jacket, smock like ill-fitting coats and collars that act as scarves. The drapery was stunning and the contrast in shapes turned a boring garment into an interesting one.
