Julien Macdonald Woman Autumn-Winter 2016 – Julien Macdonald showcased an electrifying stunning collection at London Fashion Week A/W 16-17 in a venue that resembled a church.

Deep plunging necklines on jumpsuits and body hugging dresses were the order of the day at the show. Models walked the runway in eye-catching strapless and backless dresses in embellished silver fabric with a front slit. A black off the shoulder asymmetrical dress with a plunging neckline from the left shoulder to the right hip bone stood out. Bodysuits with floor length fringing or sequinned in black and gold were paired with thigh high boots for a playful look.

The collection featured male models in military inspired suits and utility boots. Variations on this theme involved either crisp white shirts accentuated by thin black bow-ties or just bare chested men in black trousers and boots.

The most enduring image was the finale. It involved a model strutting down the runway in a bridal white off the shoulder mini dress with a tutu-like feathered skirt flanked by a flower girl in a similar outfit and a page boy in a miniature version of the male models suited and booted look.
