Nicholas Kirkwood opens Paris pop-up

Nicholas Kirkwood signed a deal six months ago with LVMH which welcomed his label into the French luxury giant’s stable, and the first major fruits of the collaboration are being seen now.

The London-based shoe designer will be opening a series of pop-up stores over the next year but has picked Paris for his continental debut. A temporary space in the Parisian department store Printemps has recently opened and will be in place until mid-April, carrying the label’s latest men’s and women’s styles.

The second pop-up is set to appear at Miami’s Bal Harbour at the end of March and there will also be more men’s shoes coming soon: “We only have six styles really, but there is huge opportunity in men’s. We will be putting more focus on it as it is gaining momentum. It’s good timing,” he told WWD

Another six or so pop-ups are also slated over the next twelve months with locations expected in the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
